StoryTunes® is a ten-minute recital piece based on a theme with multiple variations entwined within a cute story.

"Each variation is thoughtfully and creatively arranged. I can imagine a show stopping grand finale - a communal experience with students of all ages and levels, each taking a variation and being introduced by a narrator who guides the listener on a sonic, imaginative journey.” Paula Dreyer, creator of Little Gems for Piano

The first Theme and Variation available is Mary Had a Little Lamb for piano and harp in English, Spanish, French, and Italian.

Each variation gives a musical challenge to the student while keeping the song interesting. After students complete the variations, encourage them to WONDER if they could create more variations.

Congratulations on your very appealing and interesting variations of Mary Had A Little Lamb. You have introduced a way to learn and create that awakens curiosity, which is the tool that ignites learning. I love the details of the narrative story. I can't wait to motivate my students of all levels.  Teachers, don't miss out! This is an opportunity to broaden perspectives and create an interactive studio experience that boosts learning and enthusiasm! I plan to use these improvisations in a group zoom recital.

Wow! ScriboQ is so thorough and organized!  The extra material is also excellent for a parent orientation and a reference for scales and chords. What a professional and creative accomplishment! One of my favorite features in the book is the Critique/Technique questions. It is really important for students to learn to self-evaluate.
